Tyler grew up in rural Western Kentucky, spending his childhood immersed in the woods and waters, hunting and fishing with his father and brothers. His fascination with reading—an addiction, really—and his family's strong commitment to self-reliance have made him an expert in numerous areas, while also a bit of a "jack of all trades" in others.

Tyler's knowledge spans a wide range, from butchering game to general construction to human philosophy over the ages, with a particular love for Hellenistic philosophy. As a serial entrepreneur, he has focused his energies on products and services that help people improve their physical health and mental wellness.

He's never met a stranger and loves to connect with people, whether it's to say hey, shake hands, or give a great big hug if you're so inclined.
