Jessica grew up in Oroville and graduated from Chico State in 1999.  From there she attended law school at the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California.  She has been a practicing attorney in Butte County for 20 years, currently working as a Prosecutor.

Jessica made a conscious decision to live and work in the community she loves.  Butte County has a wealth of natural and community resources that make it a true hidden gem of the North State.  Lifelong residency here has made enjoying outdoor activities part of her everyday experience.  She grew up hiking local trails and waterskiing on Lake Oroville.

She and her husband have raised their two children to expect the same, and have made it a point to get to a National or State Park at just about every vacation they have taken.    In her spare time, you can find her planning vacations, playing the piano, or attempting to turn her ballet classes into something that resembles dance.
